Chelsea and Justin had the most BEAUTIFUL elopement at Folly Beach this spring and the day could not have been more perfect for them! But before I get into how amazing their elopement was, I just have to say how much I enjoyed getting to know Chelsea at our first meeting. She’s from Virginia beach and I’m also from the Northern VA area!  She went to ODU which is also my mother’s alma mater!  So, it was a great first connection.  I was over the moon excited for what she and Justin had planned for their day. Folly Beach is one of my favorite places and doing an elopement style wedding pulls on my heart strings. I had an elopement as well many years ago and loved how intimate it was. She and I truly saw eye to eye on the intimacy of family and friends being present for such a special day and how meaningful it was going to be for them. She shared with me the vision for the day as a whole which made my creative heart soar! And when you see the incredible style below and how beautifully matched Chelsea and Justin are, you’ll totally understand!

As wedding day got very near, I called in my extremely talented and over the top amazing associates, Laura and Rachel to photograph the day on my behalf as some very unexpected post-covid complications arose! Thankfully, all is on the mend finally! I think we can all agree that Covid has been wildly unfair this year but I don’t want any of that to detract from the beauty that was Chelsea and Justin’s wedding day. Because all around, it was captured so beautifully, and by the smiles on their faces, I can see that they are thrilled to be MARRIED!!!
