Winery weddings are always so beautiful and so popular here in Virginia. And why wouldn’t they be? There are so many gorgeous venues to choose from. Heather and Jim chose The Winery at La Grange in Haymarket, VA. What a wonderful choice. The location was beautiful for a winter wedding and perfect for their quaint ceremony and reception.
When I first spoke to Heather, I fell in love with her North Carolina accent. I immediately liked her and we clicked right away during that first phone call. We had such a wonderful time getting to know each other. After I had the chance to meet Jim as well at their engagement session, I knew their wedding would be filled with love and so much fun! I wasn’t wrong.
To start off the day, I met Heather at her home in Haymarket. She was busy getting all dolled up before we headed for the venue.

Above the tasting room there was a beautifully rustic bridal suite. It was perfect for a glass of wine, some snacks, and photographing all of Heather’s beautiful details of the day.

Jim’s daughters and Heather’s nieces were the absolute cutest! And I love their navy dresses and pink shaws.

This brave little lady sang a beautiful song for Heather and Jim. Gorgeous voice!

We took a couple of quick photos in front of the gorgeous mantle before the room was transformed into a a gorgeous reception room!

We quickly went outside to capture some photos before the sun went down.

I just love the beautiful golden color that starts to set in as the sun gets lower in the sky.  It’s so gorgeous!

And just like that, the perfect day was over.
