Before I met with Jennifer and Duke, I sent a fun little questionnaire for them to fill out prior to our meeting. Two things that stuck out to me were: 1.) One of their favorite restaurants is The Pit in NC (mine too), 2.) Jennifer’s dream vacation an overwater hut in Bora Bora (also one of my dreams). As soon as I read these two things alone, I knew I HAD to meet these two. The day of our scheduled meeting, we both arrived early to the restaurant we had chosen and decided to shop around a bit before going inside. Coincidentally, we decided to go shopping in the same shop, ran into each other, but didn’t realize who each other was. It was too funny when we finally sat down to dinner, only to realize that we were shopping buddies just a few minutes prior at J. Crew. Great minds!!! As we chatted over dinner, we found that we really did have a special little relationship brewing and couldn’t wait to get started working together. With Duke’s NC roots and Jennifer’s sweet, humble disposition, I knew that 1.) The two of them are the PERFECT match for each other, and 2.) Our time together for the engagement session, wedding, and everything in between was going to be amazing! We got the engagement session scheduled right away and decided to head to DC for a fun day in Georgetown. It was nothing short of GORGEOUS!!!
