From the first moment I met Jennifer and Eric, I loved them. They were two of the most generous, kind hearted, humble people that I had ever met. Also, when I learned that both of them were chefs and that many of their friends were also chefs and would be helping with the food on their wedding day, I definitely knew that this was a wedding where I wanted to be! In all seriousness, this wedding day could not have been more perfect. The weather was beautiful and their entire church community at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints really came together to put on a beautiful event for them.
The wedding took place at the Washington DC Temple. In a traditional Mormon wedding, photography is not allowed in the temple during the ceremony (sealing of the marriage). So while Jennifer and Eric sealed their marriage, we took photos of the beautiful structure. This temple is GORGEOUS and we found so many beautiful places for photos before the ceremony and after Jennifer and Eric emerged from the temple for the first time as husband and wife.
Isn’t this temple just amazing?!
While Jennifer and Eric had their ceremony, we found a beautiful pathway with a trellis to do all of the details.
It was so exciting to see Jennifer and Eric emerge from the temple as husband and wife for the first time.
Of course it was time for the bridal party photos.
Jennifer looked just beautiful in her gown. Simply gorgeous!
And Eric was so handsome!
Now when the two of them were together, oh my goodness! They took my breath away!
The reception was so sweet with lots of fun details.
And did I mention the candy bar layered cake and the handmade truffles in four different flavors?!
Of course we ended the evening with the bride and groom dancing together as husband and wife.
Jennifer and Eric, I wish you a lifetime of blessing and happiness! Thank you for asking me to be a part of such a special day.
