We met at a small coffee shop in Warrenton; right around the time that my new studio was almost done. We took a peek through the large windows of the coffee shop at the building where the studio was to be as we chatted over coffee. It was still a bit cold outside but we didn’t care. It was the perfect day for a cup of coffee and to talk about our lives and Charles and Jessica’s wedding plans. They will be getting married at Evergreen Country Club next spring and wanted to get a jump on the wedding planning (which is so smart). After our meeting, I knew that I had to work with them! They were so kind, laid back, and enjoyed so many of the things as a couple that I enjoy with my husband; time on the couch and visiting breweries. Although I’m not much of a drinker, it’s still fun to get out and relax, something they love to do too! When I got the message from Jessica that we would officially be working together, I was so delighted. We got right to scheduling their engagement session! They both wanted a beautiful garden feel so we decided on Green Spring Gardens. It is such a beautiful park. When we arrived for their session, there were tons of plant vendors set up for an upcoming sale. We just shot around them and still ended up with so many amazing photos of the two of them. We had so much fun laughing, joking, and talking about their families and their upcoming wedding. I really can’t wait to celebrate with them next May!
