Lauren and Cory! The are one of the most perfectly matched and wonderfully sweet couples I have ever met! From our first meeting, I knew that I just had to work with them. Cory is an engineer and Lauren a school teacher, both professions are perfect for each of them. Lauren and her sweet demeanor and genuine nature resonated with me right away while Cory and I immediately clicked when chatting about his job in commerical construction (my husband is a home builder) and his love for photography. I knew from the beginning that they would be so much fun to work with and that they day could be nothing but beautiful. I was so right!

Lauren and Cory each wrote special notes for each other. Cory actually had two cards for Lauren while Lauren gifted Cory with a book that she had written in each day for the past year. So incredibly thoughful!

Time to get ready!

It was time for these two to see each other!!! And what a gorgeous day it was for portraits.

One of the most special parts of the ceremony was when Lauren requested a reading of The Adventures of Little Nut Brown Hare. Cue the tears! This was Cory’s mother’s reaction. We were all feeling this way!

Now, this reception was absolutely GORGEOUS! I apologize in advance for detail overload!!!

One of my favorite parts of the reception was this cookie bar. Lauren’s mother makes about 250 DOZEN cookies every Christmas for a cookie exchange that she hosts. So, for the wedding, she had made over 100 dozen cookies, each chosen by members of the family as their favorites. I’m trying to figure out how I get an invite to that cookie exchange because these cookies were AMAZING!

We took a quick break during the reception to do some portraits in the tunnel. It’s always so cool in there!

And just like that, the evening comes to a close…
