I had the most amazing lunch this week at Sang Jun Thai in Alexandria. It was the perfect suggestion from one of my sweetest brides, Maram! She and her fiance, Adam are getting married in Houston this year and I couldn’t be more excited about their wedding. Over lunch we talked about the wedding details, how excited we both are to go to House of Pies, and hung out with my sweet little one, Hayes. Our friendship started with I photographed Maram and Adam in Old Town for their engagement. They hadn’t yet set a date for their wedding or announced their engagement to their friends, so they wanted me to come take some photos to use for the “official” announcement. We hadn’t yet met so I think we were all very much anticipating meeting each other to see how the day was going to go. We truly had the BEST time. I immediately fell in love with Maram and Adam. The three of us were from so many different walks of life but bonded over good conversation and an all around good time. What’s so funny about my lunch date this week with Maram is that I don’t think we even talked about those photos even though we enjoyed each other’s company so much that day. We talked about the future, the past, religion, politics, EVERYTHING! It was refreshing and heart warming to have special time like that with one of my brides. That’s truly why I love what I do so incredibly much. I love it so much I can’t ever call it a “job”. Each and every client impacts my life in such a positive way. Maram and Adam, I send you both much love and can’t wait to see you again soon! Houston or bust!!!
