Tip #1 is all about the light. Positioning yourself perpendiculuar to the light source is KEY for gorgeous shots that create beautiful dimension. Make sure you watch the video and check back here to see how my position to the light affected the shots.

Position #1 Completely perpendicular to the door! Standing at a 90 degree angle. This is my go-to position for beautiful lights and shadows.

Position #2 – To the left of the chair at a 135 degree angle from the door! This will give you a more dramatic look.

Position #3 – The the right of the chair at a 45 degree angle from the door! This will give you more of a flat light look.
