I say to all of my wedding couples that one of the most important things about marriage is staying connected. It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind and to forget why you fell in love in the first place, especially after having children. When sleep deprivation takes over and the hustle and bustle of driving the kids to their countless after school activities takes precedence, it’s so easy to forget to reconnect. When Rochelle reached out to me and asked if I would photograph her 10 year vow renewal, I jumped at the chance. Not only because I LOVE photographing in the gorgeous, Virginia countryside, or because Rochelle and I go WAY back, but because there’s no greater blessing than watching two people recommit their lives to one another. After years of ups and downs, laughter and tears, to take the time to confess your love for one another before God is such a beautiful thing. I’m so happy to have been there for Rochelle, Christopher, Lucas and Taylor. Their special moment was incredibly blessed and pretty magical!
