One of the biggest compliments I can get is a bride that chooses to work with me because she was a bridesmaid at a wedding that I photographed previously! I’ll be honest, photographing a wedding day, keeping the timeline moving, and being super in tune with keeping the bridal party happy while staying efficient is such a balancing act. When Sammi asked me to photograph her upcoming wedding after she was a bridesmaid in her sweet friend, Sarah’s wedding, I JUMPED at the chance. Not only because I just love Sammi but also because I love Sarah! And it was so wonderful being a part of her wedding day where it was like a mini reunion.

There were so many parts of Sammi and Vick’s day that I absolutely loved. Here a few of my favorite moments.

1.) The bridal party was stellar! We had to make some slight adjustments to the photography timeline because of the weather and everyone was so on board and SO helpful! It makes for such an easy day when everyone is so kind and fun to work with!

2.) The wedding was officiated by Jessie, Sammi’s bridesmaid and best friend. I loved the humor and wit as well as the thoughtful and heartfelt words that she used to craft the perfect ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye because of emotion or laughter!

3.) BEAN! I LOVE that Bean, Sammi and Vick’s sweet golden, was a part of their day. She was just beautiful as always! Love you, Bean!

4.) Sammi is a nurse at Children’s Hospital and one of her patients has had a life long dream of being a flower girl. Her name is also Sammi! So, Sammi (bride) decided that it would be perfect for Sammi to be one of her flower girls! She certainly stole the show with her beautiful personality and awesome set of wheels that were so gorgeous decorated by the super talented J. Morris!

I really could go on and on. The night was so much fun with so much personality coming out on the dance floor and great speeches that had us all rolling! The weather may have given us some issues but it didn’t stop this day from being gorgeous and an all around AMAZING celebration of two wonderful people! Love you both, Sammi and Vick!
