Typically, waking at 4:00 in the morning is not my idea of fun. HOWEVER, it actually is super exciting when waking that crazy early to photograph a sunrise engagement session with an amazing couple! After weeks of hot weather, Sarah and Tyler jumped at the chance to take their engagement photos in the early morning hours and to be free from the crowds that typically follow in DC. Sarah and Tyler knew they wanted to start their session at the Jefferson Memorial because it is Tyler’s favorite memorial. It just made sense to head to the Tidal Basin to finish up their session. The light was beautiful, the air crisp, and the area free of tourists. It really was all around the perfect morning!

Sarah and Tyler, thank you for being good sports and for waking SOOOO early. It was certainly worth it!
