I can’t say enough how much I LOVED Amanda and Tom’s wedding! It definitely goes down in the history books as one of my absolute coldest weddings, but that made the day even that much more memorable. Everything was absolutely beautiful, from the gorgeous invites that were created by Tom’s sister, to the floral arch that was dripping with peonies and hydrangeas, to the perfect wedding cake! It was all so amazing. But of course, Amanda and Tom topped it all off with their fun loving personalities and the light heartedness to roll with the punches. It may have been cold and we may have seen quite a few snow flakes (that blew in sideways I might add), but that didn’t keep them from laughing, braving the wind and snow for some gorgeous photos, and for making the day so much fun for their family and guests. I have to say that it was all around a perfect day.
I just love love LOVE Amanda’s style! Look at these invites and details..
Each guest got a welcome bag that included this beautiful program!
Also in that bag were super cute, mini Georgetown Cupcakes!
I love it when a couple decides to write a special note to each other on their wedding day. It’s always such a beautiful moment.
Time to get ready!!!
I just love Stone Tower Winery weddings. The landscape is so picturesque. Because the outside is so gorgeous, we decided to brave the wind and snow for some outdoor photos before the ceremony. It was definitely worth it!
We then took a break from the elements to photograph inside Stone Tower’s amazing barrel room. It’s so magical in there!
The sun decided to peek out just a bit so we headed back outside for one last round of portraits! These two were so amazing!!!
I just loved this bridal party. Such a wonderful group and they really took care of their bride!!!
The ceremony took place in the tank room. It was perfect for Amanda’s guests. The floral arch looked beautiful with the stonework and wooden door!
This reception space was beautiful! I loved the florals that flowed down the middle of each farm table.
This candy bar was so much fun. I especially loved the perfect Virginia shaped cookies and the mini Georgetown Cupcakes!
One last time we made our way outside as the sun was setting. The view from the reception space here is simply amazing!
I love this!!!
Time to party!
We took a break to cut this perfect cake! Lora from Gateau always makes the most beautiful and DELICIOUS cakes!
Instead of the traditional bouquet toss, Amanda cleverly pretended that she was throwing it and gave it to her maid of honor! So sweet!!
Congratulations, Amanda and Tom! To a lifetime of love and happiness!!!
xoxo
