You guys, I LOVE LOVE LOVE a beautiful DC wedding!  And Michele and Ian’s wedding at the Mayflower was absolutely amazing.  So beautiful and surprisingly laid back for such a big affair.  But with these two, I wouldn’t have imagined it any other way.  From the moment I walked in the door to greet Michele, she was smiling ear to ear.  And when I was able to meet Ian before the first look, so much of the same!  These two were just MEANT for each other.  They’re two kind, loving, adventurous souls that found each other on Coffee Meets Bagel, a dating app for those of you that may not have heard of it.  It’s actually pretty darn cute. You can check it out HERE.  They met, fell in love, spent time abroad while Ian worked on a writing project, got engaged, and here they are.  Now happily married and I’m sure loving every minute of it.  I hope you love every gorgeous detail of their day just as I did!  And make sure to take a peek below for a list of the AMAZING team of vendors that made this day so wonderful!

Michele and Ian’s first look was outside in the windy, cold of the afternoon! What troopers but boy, it was so worth it!!!

We escaped the cold for some portraits inside the beautiful hallways of the Mayflower.  This hotel is really so gorgeous!!

Huge kudos to these girls!!!  They were such troopers braving the cold.  Thanks, ladies for being so awesome!!

 

The boys did a good job, too!

Prior to the ceremony was the Ketubah signing.  Such a beautiful tradition!

After the Ketubah signing, we were ready for the ceremony.  How beautiful is this chuppah?

As the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the ceremony space was set!  How magnificent!  Absolutely beautiful!

 

 

 

My favorite wedding tradition!!!  The Hora!!!  So much fun!!

The blessing of the challah!  
And of course, time for round one of the speeches.  The love and laughter filled that room from wall to wall!  

So, fun fact about Ian…he’s a rapper!  And he prepared an AMAZING song for Michele!  What an awesome surprise!!!

And after some dancing fun, time for round 2.  Still so much love and laughter!

Michele had a little surprise for Ian of her own!  Such a talented couple 🙂

The perfect way to end the evening!  Delicious cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake with the Coffee Meets Bagel logo on the top.  Closing the evening with a nod to where it all began!

 

Michele and Ian, what an amazing day it was!  I feel so blessed to have spent it with you!  I wish you so much love, laughter, and joy in the many many MANY years to come!!!
